Capital Book Fest hosted its special edition, Children's Book Festival this past June. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and the magic of storytelling. Local award-winning authors shared their wonderful books, sparking joy and curiosity in readers of all ages. Children and their families enjoyed a variety of activities including a STEAM station presented by the National Children’s Museum, thrilling rounds of Double Dutch led by DC Retro Jumpers, activities with Africa Access, and DC Public Library’s Discover Summer Program.
