On Thursday, May 22nd, the Sons of Italy Foundation (SIF) will host its annual gala, celebrating the rich heritage and contributions of the Italian-American community. This year’s event will pay tribute to the Region of Lombardy and honor individuals who have made significant, lasting impacts within their communities and beyond. The evening will also highlight the promising future of Italian-American youth and the meaningful work of the SIF, which since its founding in 1959, has awarded tens of millions of dollars in scholarships. This year’s recipients will be recognized in person during the gala. The celebration will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m., followed by a formal dinner and awards presentation at 7:00 p.m., concluding around 10:00 p.m.
