On December 5, 2019, RB/ITC hosted the 8th Annual Winternational Embassy Showcase organized by World Trade Center Washington, DC (WTCDC). Bright textiles and handicrafts, a sea of flags, cultural cuisines, and colorful traditional dress, filled the Atrium for the largest showcase in the event’s history with 61 embassies and 5,000 visitors. A private ambassador reception on the Oculus overlooked the Atrium and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, Marie Royce remarked, “the event, provides vivid and compelling examples of openness, tolerance and creative expression, as is so vibrantly displayed among today’s exhibitors.”
