On January 2, RRB/ITC hosted the inauguration of Mayor Anthony Williams. Williams was former D.C. Chief Financial Officer and was credited with guiding the city government out of a fiscal crisis. The oath of office was recited at 12:15pm in the Atrium as it was administered by D.C. Superior Court Judge Eugene N. Hamilton. The new mayor pledged to build an independent world-class city and that a new beginning was here.
