On October 12, 2022 RB/ITC hosted the opening ceremony of the first-ever Taiwan Expo USA in Washington, DC. The three-day event, presented by Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (BOFT) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), revolved around seven major themes: 5G & Smart Cities, Smart Vehicles, Healthcare, Metaverse, Taiwan Excellence, Culture, and Tourism and Food. Attendees witnessed Taiwan’s leading products and innovations through themed industry pavilions and culture through performances and immersive experiences.
