Favorite Event Trend:
Incorporating AI technology into events is my current favorite. It’s changing how we connect, communicate, and customize experiences.

Favorite RRB/ITCSpace:
The Pavilion. It’s such an intimate and multifaceted space. The high ceilings and balconies give it an open, airy feel.
Most Memorable Events:
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Aerospace Summit was incredible—especially when they showcased a plane on Wilson Plaza! I also loved the Hyundai Hope on Wheels 25th Anniversary Gala in the Atrium, where they displayed three Hyundai vehicles. Both events truly showed how our spaces can support our clients' vision and creativity.

Favorite Event Trend:
As an event planner, it’s hard to choose a favorite design because there are so many ways to make an event memorable. Dramatic, moody uplighting and excessive draping are my favorites. Uplighting sets the tone for an event, whether you're using simple decor or beautifully rented pieces from outside vendors. It transforms the space, creating an intimate yet captivating ambiance. Excessive draping works well for both weddings and large tech events. It creates a clean, refined look and can truly transform an entire space.

Favorite RRB/ITC Space:
Woodrow Wilson Plaza. It perfectly showcases the building’s architecture and DC’s historic charm.
Most Memorable Events:
The Naganthan + Miriyala Wedding in 2023 stands out—it was one of my first weddings here and also my first Indian wedding. Every event teaches me something new and contributes to my personal growth. With every wedding I work on, I mentally take notes for future weddings. Every challenge in the building helps me improve my problem-solving skills, which also benefits my personal life. To sum it up, being an event planner is an amazing career. I essentially plan parties for a living, and who doesn’t love a good party?

Favorite Event Trend:
Personalization is key. I love it when clients take the same space and completely reimagine it. I treat every layout like a new creative challenge. Every event is a chance to reinvent a space—it keeps creativity flowing.
Favorite RRB/ITC Space:
Atrium Hall. It’s a blank canvas and one of our largest and most flexible spaces. I’ve seen tech groups transform it with exhibits, activations, and massive LED screens—it’s where big ideas come to life.
Most Memorable Event:
NVIDIA’s 2024 AI Summit stands out—they’re a top-tier tech group and always deliver a fully immersive experience with innovative activations that drive engagement.

Favorite Event Trend:
I’m currently loving custom cocktails and coordinated dress codes. These details bring a personalized and elevated feel to events. Whether it's a signature drink that tells the couple’s story or a themed dress code that unifies the guest experience, these little touches create memorable moments and add an Instagram-worthy element guests love.
Favorite RRB/ITC Space:
The Pavilion. I love that it’s a completely private space tucked away in the building. The balconies are my favorite feature — they bring in beautiful natural light and give the space an elevated vibe.
Most Memorable Event:
The Pink Tie Party in 2023 stands out for me. There were different elements to the event, from the fashion show to the cocktail competition and immersive activations throughout the space, every element was thoughtfully curated. Seeing all the pieces come together seamlessly made it an unforgettable experience—and a true showcase of what’s possible in our venue. View this BizBash article recapping the event.

Favorite Event Trend:
With warm weather ahead, I’m all about outdoor events. They offer natural beauty, sustainable elements, and great networking energy. With sustainability on the rise, outdoor functions also pair perfectly with nature-inspired decor and earthy tones.

Favorite RRB/ITC Space:
The Rotunda is my top pick. It’s ideal for both corporate and social gatherings—and you get to see the amazing city views overlooking Pennsylvania Avenue.
Most Memorable Event:
I was not the only planner for Winternational, but it’s definitely been one of my favorite events that I’ve worked on! 2024 was the first year Winternational returned after 2019, and it was amazing to see all of the embassies involved in making the showcase a success.
